Latest News!!! Well a lot has happened since the last time I posted news. Christmas has come and gone.....Rons sister Amy and Her husband Erin came down for a few days before Christmas. Their son Daniel is soo cute. We had our BIG family dinner on the 15th and then had just Ron, My parents, Sisters and myself on Christmas. It was a great time to reflect on all Christ has done for us. Ron is no longer working at the french restaurant, he is working at a greek restaurant. The french restaurant just didnt have any business and the owner of this restaurant called one night begging Ron to come to work so we just changed jobs. This new place is much better and the food is GREAT!! My dad is opening up a restaurant himself pretty soon but Ron will stay on at Athens....Dads is going to be a home cookin kinda place so the tips wont be as good but the food will be. We also have added a new addition to the family.....Penny, a Chu-poo-zue :-) She is now 2 months old! We also have some awsome news but cant quite share it yet.....and No...I am not pregnant!! We are going to be heading to NH in June for a vacation and to visit with some of Rons family.....his younger sisters Anna and Rachel are graduating H.S. so we want to attend that also. Well thats enough news for now and I will try to do a better job with updating from now on.........Megs Parents are back from Belize due to health problems. Her mom contracted Dengue Fever while in Belize and hasnt been able to recover down there. We are really enjoying having them back. We spend most of our time over at grandmas...thats where they are staying for now. Mom is doing a little better but still has a lot of recovery to go. Megs Birthday is coming up soon, Nov 11 her grandma is having surgery that day so be keeping her in your prayers. Ron now has a job working in fancy french restaurant. He really enjoys it and also loves having the extra money with just a few nights a week of work. Well not too much is going on right now. Megs mom came up for a short time in Aug. It was really nice to be able to spend time with her. While she was up she needed a ride down to Florida to pick up a Belizean friend. We drove her down on Friday to Orlando to visit Grandmas, Brother-in-law and Sister. Sat morning we took mom to Tampa and went to the beach and then to Lakeland to visit with Jessica, Chuck, Hannah and Joyce. Later that day we picked mom and her friend up and headed back to SC. It was a long trip but well worth it. We really got to spend some quality time with Mama. Summer is ending....finally!!!! It has been a LONG HOT summer. Ron says it seems so funny for 85 to feel nice, and the low 80s and high 70s to be cool. They are logging the land behind us now, so we have logging trucks in and out all day! That too will be over soon. Promise our new kitten is growing so fast! She has more than doubled in size! She brings us such joy. We love to watch her play. I never realized how entertaining a cat can be. Thats pretty much all that is going on right now but check back later because you never know what tomorrow holds in store........... |
